Corrections and updates
A useful correction tells us what changed, where it changed and what evidence can help confirm it.
What to include
For the live service, a first-hand observation can identify a research question, while an official page or operator notice can help resolve it. The current preview form is for test reports only: use fictional details and do not supply personal information. A useful live report would include:
- The airport, terminal and facility.
- The page or statement you believe needs changing.
- What you observed and when you observed it.
- An official source link, if available.
- An optional email address if you are willing to clarify the report.
What happens to a report
The intended workflow is to check the report against the relevant airport page, terminal map or operator information, then resolve any uncertainty before changing the structured record. A named editor must approve publication.
Reports never publish automatically. A single report does not by itself establish a permanent closure or airport-wide policy. No response time is promised.
What changes on the page
An accepted correction should update the affected fact and supporting source. The review date should reflect the actual editorial check, not a routine website build. Where evidence is still conflicting, the page should continue to explain the uncertainty.
For urgent problems at the airport
Speak to airport staff or the service provider if you need immediate help. This directory is not an emergency contact, assistance booking service or airport complaints channel.
